Nutec Facilities Corp has extensive experience with the planning, design, and construction of heavy manufacturing, light manufacturing, assembly, automotive, foundries, printing, and other production spaces supported by in-house process and industrial engineers. Some of our recent project experiences:
Nutec Facilities Corp provided full-service design and construction management services for renovation of an existing facility to consolidate functions from multiple locations into a single facility. More than 14,000 sq. ft. of office space were created in a former manufacturing area and an engineering lab and employee cafeteria were included.
Operating under a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), Nutec Facilities Corp provided design-build services to convert 53,000 sq. ft. of an existing facility into a manufacturing facility for metal stampings, fabrications, and value-added assemblies. The scope of work included relocation of manufacturing process equipment, floor refinishing, new compressor room and building accessibility, new restroom facilities, complete relighting, and new air conditioning throughout the facility.
When this European firm decided to create a new consolidated manufacturing and administration facility in New England, they commissioned Nutec to create a high-profile North American headquarters by renovating an existing, vacant building. In addition to Class A office space, the project entailed new manufacturing and assembly areas for the production of high-quality firearms. Nutec Facilities Corp served as program manager for the project.
Although manufacturing represents a significant portion of the American economy, there are countless older facilities with inefficient processes and poorly designed production lines. For this Fortune 500 firm, Nutec was asked to provide assembly line layout and workstation design, while also designing custom carts and tools to aid in assembly of the products.
This New Jersey-based client retained Nutec to design and install a new bulk conveying system on an accelerated timeframe. The result is a facility that can transport 125,000 pounds of product per day, transferring liquid product.
For almost two decades Nutec has been providing “on call” type design and construction services to a major automotive manufacturer. More than 1,000 task orders have been completed, entailing such work as utility upgrades and replacements, Arc Flash consulting, industrial wastewater piping and pumping, assembly line rebalancing, Lock Out/Tag Out implementation, project management, plant engineering, CADD facility services, and much more.
Nutec Facilities Corp served as design-builder for a major expansion for a Fortune 500 company to house new gravure presses and specialized solvent recovery systems. Nutec has completed multiple design-build and construction management projects for this client at several locations.
